Rose District Plaza
Brought to you by The City of Broken Arrow
The Rose District Farmers Market will be back at the Rose District Plaza this year!
This year you can also enjoy the Farmers Market on Tuesday evenings from 4-7pm.
Spring shoppers will find asparagus, kale, lettuce, parsley, cilantro, spinach and other early vegetables.
As the season progresses, traditional crops such as zucchini, onions, tomatoes, corn and blueberries will become available.
Watch for your favorites to come in season and receive real-time posts by following the market on Facebook-Rose District Farmers Market.
VARIETY AND UNIQUENESS
With over 40 vendors, the market has many unique produce vendors. Shoppers can now find tomatoes and hydroponic lettuce from early spring until late fall. Mushrooms, artichokes and edible bamboo shoots will also be available in season. Want to try something new? Check out the Asian spinach available during the hot summer months.
For those who want to grow their own vegetables, shoppers can purchase several varieties of plants.
FRESH LOCAL FOOD
Stock your kitchen with the freshest local food! Arrive early for gluten free or regular Amish bread and cinnamon rolls. Local honey and eggs will be available as well. Several types of meat are available for purchase including beef and chicken.
A DESTINATION PLACE
Meet a friend for breakfast and enjoy a great cup of coffee and a muffin. Beginning in May, shoppers can enjoy live music from local bands from 10:00–11:30 a.m.
While you are there, bring the kids to the Kids Corner to complete a take home craft. Beginning in May, it will be located under the small pavilion and hosted by local non-profit agencies that work with kids.
THE ROSE DISTRICT
Located in newly renovated Rose District, the market is now in its eighth season and is the second largest farmer’s market in the state. While you’re in town, be sure to take time to visit the quaint shops and great new eateries nestled on Main Street in Oklahoma’s heartland.
